The Whisper That Changed Everything: How One Moment Sparked Conscious Tourism

Conscious Tourism began as a personal calling, a true dream state of my most joyful life expression,  that grew into a community-centered movement rooted in connection, transformation, joy, soul, and safety.

It emerged through lived experiences in nature-based exploration, retreat collaboration, family travel, the four elements, and community building — not from a business plan, but from listening to the quiet whisper of purpose and choosing to walk toward it.

You Know the Whisper

You know that feeling when an idea lives inside you for years (4 to be exact) — quietly gestating, leaping around your heart, your mind, your entire essence — long before it ever has a name?

That’s how Conscious Tourism was born.

Not as a brand, not as a strategy, not as a business plan.
But as a whisper, rooted in dream state, with creative possibility calling it forward, that only time and compassion could gestate.

What Sparked Conscious Tourism?

Conscious Tourism was sparked by a single question asked at the right moment: “If you could do anything for the rest of your life — only in your dreams — what would it be?”

About four years ago, after stepping away from Corporate America, I was asked that question. Without hesitation, I answered:

I would travel the world with my family and friends, immerse myself in conscious experiences, allow those encounters to change me — and then share those stories in ways that empower the places and people doing the work of healing, creativity, and regeneration.

What followed surprised me and inspired me.  It was a knowing that this dream would need to be created with the end in mind. It was not to be built from traditional systems; financial planning, too would be organic, and the only thing I knew to do was walk towards it.

From Experiences to Community

What followed wasn’t a straight path — it was a remembering before the systems, the hierarchies, the idea of competition, and the profits.

I began hosting intimate mother–daughter retreats where connection, healing, and love bloomed naturally. I opened my home for sound baths under the stars, where strangers arrived guarded and left holding one another — having shared vulnerability, laughter, and truth.

My husband and I acquired 25 acres of land in New Smyrna, knowing — without proof — that it would one day be part of something larger. A sanctuary. A legacy. A place shaped by transformation.

As the retreats grew, one truth became unmistakable:

What people were truly longing for wasn’t another experience or destination — it was connection, belonging, joy, and ‘return home’.

Why the Conscious Tourism Collective Exists

The Conscious Tourism Collective exists to support people, places, and communities already doing transformative work — by weaving them into a living ecosystem of storytelling, partnership, regenerative living, and belonging.

This work revealed my deepest strength: building bridges where walls once stood. Helping people slow down enough to ask for help, share their needs, invest in one another’s dreams, and trust that the visions we carry are not random — they are invitations from the future calling us forward.

Conscious Tourism is not about consuming experiences.
It’s about remembering together, and rooting in Faith beyond our understanding.

The Moment It Became Real

On July 9th, 2025 — my 42nd birthday — my husband and I were reflecting on our gratitude for our children and our life. Half-jokingly, he said, “What if we had another?”

We laughed — knowing that chapter had closed.

What we didn’t know was that the very next day, the words Conscious Tourism would arrive fully formed like a lightning strike that took my breath away.

The domain was available.  The price was outrageous. My heart said ‘maybe’ anyway, I’ll ask him.

Three hours later, we had our third “baby.”

What Conscious Tourism Is Today

Conscious Tourism is a collective and experiential platform that reconnects people to themselves, each other, and the natural world through immersive, nature-based journeys rooted in emotional safety, joy, and transformation.

It supports retreat hosts, artists, healers, sanctuaries, and regenerative partners through storytelling, community, and aligned collaboration — creating pathways for meaningful impact without extraction.

If you’re reading this, you’re already part of the Collective.

Conscious Tourism began as a whisper, became a walk, and is now a collective journey.
It is an invitation to return — to connection, to community, and to the soul of what travel was always meant to be.

Welcome to the Conscious Tourism Collective — where destination meets transformation, and community becomes the journey.
